Anthony Hampton  (2019)

A high school standout at West Memphis who was the Arkansas Gazette’s Track Athlete of the Year in 1989, when he was the Class AAAA state champion in the 100-, 200- and 400-meters, and, competing for Arkansas State, went on to win the Sun Belt Conference 100  and 55-meter indoor titles four consecutive years while remaining undefeated in the conference in short sprints (indoor and outdoor) for four years.

High School Career 1987-1989: 
  • 1989 - AAA State Champion 100M, 200M and 400M  Person Best Times - 100M(10.37), 200M(21.6)  400M(48.9) 
  • 1989 - Arkansas Gazette Track Athlete of the Year 

ASU 1990-1993:
 
  • Sun Belt Conference Champion four (4) consecutive  years 100M 
  • Sun Belt Conference Champion four (4) consecutive  years 55M (Indoor) 
  • Ran lead leg on two(2) school record relay teams  4x200M and 1600M Sprint Medley  
  • Person Best Time in 200M (21.15) and ranks 7th all time at ASU​
