Danbury (CT) High School; Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia

Danbury High School (CT):
  • Danbury High School and state record in the 100-yard dash — 9.6 seconds
  • Danbury High School, state, and national record in the 60-yard dash — 6.2 seconds Danbury High School records for the 220-yard dash and the Broad Jump.

Southern Arkansas University:
  • While at Southern State College, he held the Arkansas state records in the 100-yard dash, the 60-yard dash and the 220-yard dash
  • Ran a 9.3 100-yard dash at a meet in Little Rock in 1965. At the time, the world record for the 100-yard dash was 9.2. Was on the school record setting relay teams in the 440 and 880-yard relay with respective times of 40.8 and 1:26.8 in 1966.
  • Set Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference (AIC) records in the 100 and 220-yard dashes at the 1966 AIC championship meet.
  • Was a member of the Mulerider 440-yard relay team that finished fourth in the National
  • Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national meet Was a 1966 NAIA All-American, and was All-AIC in 1965 and 1966.

Eriquezzo has been inducted into the Danbury High School Athletic Hall of Fame and the Southern Arkansas University Athletic Hall of Fame. George received a Bachelor of Arts from Western Connecticut State  University in 1991.

​Presently he is retired from a career at United 
Parcel Services and lives in Arkansas.
